Not really, I was way lazy last winter, thankfully I didn't gain much weight, just didn't get very active. I am slightly overweight though, 164lbs. Nothing life threatening, and I don't actually care to get super fit, it's just 'not me.'
But i would like to get less lazy, gotta find a middle ground. haha
I've been trying to take long walks everyday, seems to be working nicely.
I'm in good shape, I'm pretty thin and I do crunches after every meal. When I was much younger in my elementary school days, I was a chubby kid, but aftera fewyears I started to actually care about my weight, after seeing so many thin people at school and on TV, and then looking at myself, so I started to eat less, do crunches, and after a while I got in much better shape, and now feel much better about myself.
yup. For a couple years I was in the "kinda...sorta" range. But I lost a lot of weight. I wasn't that much over weight (maybe20 pounds)but I didn't feel good about myself. And as a girl you kinda have to look good or people treat you like crap. (had it happen :( ) I feel good now though :) I love being fit and being able to walk long distances and stuff. Amnesiac23
Bah, I don't care what people think of me, just my spouses opinion and my own self-image are what is important to me. I've never had people treat me poorly because of my weight though, and you were only like 20lbs overweight? And people gave you insults because of it? Sweetie, I'm just going to tell you, whoever these people are; they're morons. In reality (adult world) nobody will likely insult you because of your body, especially a ridiculously insignificant 20lbs,unless you get with a person out for your body alone. Also, "looking good" is subjective. I actually far prefer my figure now than when I was skinny as a rail.
I mean, I'm happy you share thecommon opinion of beauty and you're happy with yourself, that's excellent. I just felt the need to clear a few things up.

lol thanks. Well, this crap only happened when I was with my best friend/cousin whois skinner than me...Used to hurt my feelings. But I guess your right about them being morons. :) I'll take what you said to heart and try to remember it next time someone feels they need to be an *** about it.
I'm kinda/sorta; my doctor said that i was 5 pounds overweight and my muscle/fat ratio was decent but I am trying to lose more weight.
yes, I am because I have to be for health reasons. I got diabetes at 22 (I'm 25 now) and had to do 180 degree change on my eating and exercising habits. I have bad genetics, lol, so while I lift weights and run everyday, I don't really look like it. lol, meaning, if I had good genes like my wife's brothers, I'd be all buff and ripped and stuff, but as is, I look pretty average. I'm 5'10'' and 160 lbs. Oh, the other reason is for my energy level. I work full-time, go to school full-time, volunteer at my church, and take care of a wife, 3 kids, and a house, so I'm pretty busy. And when I'm not exercising, I just don't have enough energy to live my life. :-P skreetpreacha
my sympathies... :(

thanks Bro, it's no biggie though. :-) "Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength." (Nehemiah 8:10)
I'm too skinny. I'm 16 years old, 6'1", 145. However, thanks to my weight I can jump a lot easily (I can dunk 8) ).EnzoLake
nice!

Amen, Amen. I had a feeling you were christian too... oh wait... you said you go to church... well atleast you seem to believe what you say
Here's a theory:
Skinny people can be stronger than a "regular" person
Considering how a person's arm is thicker than a skinny person, You realize that, unless they REALLY work out, it's just their genes producing more body fat on them. So if you're skinny and all there is is muscle tissue, and not much fat, you could be potentially stronger in theory if the person only has more fat than Muscle and you have more muscle tissue. This theory was proven true when I beat a "normal" kid in arm wrestling with only two fingers. This also applies to most Muscle tissue used everyday.

I second that. I beat pleople from my class which is heavier than me in arm wrestling. I think I'm strong, but I'm skinny because I don't have "grease".
