Auto Logs Out Occasionally

I'm having a slightly different problem, and the weird thing is it only seems to affect the GameSpot UK site. Basically I'll enter my details to log in, and press enter, and then the page reloads and it hasn't logged me in, it still displays the box to enter my details. I tried going on the beta, and found that was already logged in on that, and then I tried the US site, and I'm logged in on that too. Also, I'm using Firefox, and tried it on IE, but same problem. So now I always have to log in on the US site.5-0

This is happening to me more frequently today...I was also redirected to here after I tried submitting a post, and there are other times when I stay logged in, but get the 'you do not have permission to moderate this board' message...

Yeah, sometimes happens to me as well.

Oh good, it's not just me then. For the life of me I couldn't figure out why I kept getting logged out and back in automatically.:shock:

Happened to me jus now. I went on another page while I was logged out and I was automatically logged in. WTH?gamah_killah

For me, it seems most frequent when I jump to other boards by using My Favourite Boards.michaelP4

The same thing was happening to me a lot last night.

The auto log outs were pretty bad for me last night, but even worse this morning ... it seems to have stopped now tho.

so, how long before it's fixed? also, what is this "beta" site and is it staying as a beta or is it set to become the regular site, hopefully with less glitches?

the only problem for me at the moment is with the site occasionally loading slowly

It should do it automatically every 2 weeks.

Do you log out and back in each day? If so, it won't happen to you. This is for people like me that never log out. It will then automatically log us out after 2 weeks.
