I've been "moderated" for trolling, but I wasn't trolling.

Not even a single troll word. Nothing at all.

How is recurring done?

I don't want it misleading my history here.

Usually, yes. Ask the Mods is the place to go for GameSpot moderation questions Since these moderations happened on GameFAQs we will not be able to assist in Ask the Mods. You will have to take this issue up with GameFAQs.
