Can't comment on articles.

When I try and comment on an article/video, it appears to have worked (I can edit, delete etc), but then as soon as I refresh or navigate away from the page and come back, the comment has disappeared. My thumbs ups stay however.

I have the same problem. Good to know it's not just my problem. Though in my case whenever I try to like a comment it doesn't work and just takes me back to the gamespot home page.

I'm having that issue on my blog too, I can't reply to any comments being left.

@-Swifty- : I went ahead and checked to make sure that your permissions were all on the up and up and it seems as though you attempted to post the same comment a few times which caused the filter to think it was spam and there for take them down. I went ahead and put up one of the 5 of the same comment. If you're still having issues with not being able to see your comments let me know.

@burgeg: You were banned on Livefyre but I went ahead and reinstated your permissions so you should be fine to post now. Sorry about that.

@pokecharm: I actually see you as being able to reply just fine to comments in your blog, perhaps its just a delay for you? If that's the case then I can report that to Livefyre. If you're still not seeing them however I will reach out as well.

The account signing-in is on and off. I haven't been able to make my posted comments stay on threads for days already, and this hasn't changed.

Like many before me, I Can't comment in blogs nor articles which started today.

I've had the exact same problem-Swifty- has and it seems I've had it for months now, I didn't notice till a couple of days ago. please explain why I have this problem

I am having the same issues as many people here. However, the problem seems to be limited to Google Chrome, which is my default browser. On the other hand, IE works perfectly fine when commenting. This is just to clarify the problem.

I would really appreciate if the support would look into the problem. Thanks!

livefyre doesn't show up, then it does show up. can't see or comment/feedback usinf livefyre, then suddenly for about 1-10 minutes i can use livefyre. then it disappears from the website and i can't see it.

I've been having the same problem, and while I want to refrain from pointing fingers...the whole thing stinks and the entire problem has been going on WAY TOO LONG. Bad service.

It works 3% of the time, then it doesn't 97% of the time. It goes days without working, only to seem to work for 1-5 minutes before not working for days. I can sign out and look at the site and see 1000+ comments.

Whatever the problem is, the fix shouldn't be taking this long.

I'm still not able to post anything in the topics and the people at the gamespot support say it's not something they can help me with. who can help me!?

Actually not true. I tested out IE and I'm posting from it right now, and it doesn't work for blogs or news items.

Firefox didn't for the last 10 days, but now firefox works a bit for newfeeds, but I still can't comment on a single blog from Firefox. That's right now, mind you. Tomorrow I'm sure it won't work at all, given how this has been working out.

Though at one point it worked, not sure what the issue was. I had thought my username had brought on redflags in the commenting system; I wouldn't mind having to change it if that would solve the issue.

I'm having the same issue, as are a lot of people. I can watch a comments section as new comments are posted, and then immediately removed.

The strange thing is, some of my comments are being posted, and some aren't, with no apparent difference between them.

Just IE and Firefox...I am tempted to install more, but it seems pretty extreme for a GS only issue.

I haven't been able to comment for a couple of weeks. Every news article shows me signed out on Livefyre and when I click Sign In, I just get bumped to the top of the page and still signed out. 

I don't truly know how long it has been like this since I havent commented on anything in a while.

Currently using Chrome. It looks like I automatically signed in when using IE-64bit. However, I refuse to use IE for any real purpose other than testing  =P

i have found that internet explorer worksfor about 5-15 minutes every once in awhile and then starts up with that browser as well.

and @synthia, i sent you an inbox reply with screenshots and am wondering if you received it or not. like another said wondering if my inbox is bugged as well.

I have been experiencing the same problem as the OP for quite a while now. So I simply stopped writing anything at all in the comments box as I couldn't find a way to ask for support. But that's not the permanent solution as I have every now and then something to say. :( And just like OP, my likes seem to work and they still appear but my comments are posted and shown on the page till I refresh(reload) the page aaaanndd its gone. Just now I posted on the Sony shares slide most in four years and it just didn't work at all. Stupid of me that I was looking for a "contact us" link or something of similar for the support and it never occured to me that it must be in the forums. Really sorry for that.

I'm having the same problems.  The comment is there after i hit send, but after I refresh the webpage it's gone forever.

It's been over a month for me...blogs, news, nothing.

IE and Firefox don't work now, I just did a test now.

LiveFyre sure is taking a long time to address this problem.

That said, some of you may want to be reminded that GameSpot outsourced its comment threads to LiveFyre.

It's been going on for 2 months here. Sorry to say but i give gamespot 2 more weeks to fix the problem. After that i'm forced to go to a new gaming website that let me comment on articles like IGN .

It's probably been closer to that time frame for me, but in trying to avoid aggravation I stopped counting the days, afterall, it's not like this is the first wave of glitches longtime users have come across. Also, it's not like I go to blogs and news everyday to know the exact startup time. I could only state when I noticed, and even then I didn't report it immediately. I also had to wait for proper motivation. Once I found I could muster up enough of a cause and care (realizing this wasn't a mere glitchspot du jour problem), I then actually posted on this Tech Support board.

@Fruitymachete I've added your info to the report that I'm sending the LF team today.

@s4dn3s5 Your issue was easy to fix, it appears that your permissions were removed at some point for abuse, I'll PM you about that later.

@burnedandfrozen You also apparently had your permissions removed, I'll PM you with details on that later as well.

@ PetJel I see that you tried to post a comment about 4 days ago in "Second PS4 controller image emerges" (which I made live for you) but the only attempt I see before that was on January 31st in " Random Encounter - F.E.A.R. " Have you been experiencing issues between those two dates?
