Cant "Read" post + invisible disapearing posts.

For the past day i have had this problom of not being able to read the post in unions and in my blog. When i say read i mean when i leave the topic it will still say "6" new posts or howevr many there are that has happened alot today and now in my blog posts are disapearing. i know there is more than "2" post on my last blog. but it only tells me i have two, when yesterday i had something along the lines of "8" comments on my blog. It is getting annoying ang the last thread i went into i couldnt see any new posts.

What is going on here any way to fix this?

I'd like to expand on this. I will have a comment total listed in a blog, but only be able to see a limited number of subsequent posts. It might say, "15 comments," yet I can only see nine.

I'm not sure if this is related, but when I'm posting "instant" comments, such as in the news section or comments in other user blogs, I notice that my comment no longer appears instantly below the box like it used to. I believe this is not isolated, either, as I'm seeing more double-posts than usual in the past 48 hours.
