Changing my e-mail; need some insight.

Alright.

 

So, I'll be getting a xbox 360 any day now and I've made a new e-mail that I will also be using for my XBL account and such. I want to make this my new e-mail though for my GameSpot account.

Now, when I put in my new e-mail and all, what if I don't get the new confirmation letter at my new e-mail?

 

I'm afraid I wont be able to access my account anymore and I'll be royaly screwed. :|

I believe that you only get a confirmation e-mail when you first make a gamespot account. If you change it now, all it does is send the gamespot newsletters to the new e-mail, as well as information about your subcrition to the new e-mail. Also, you can log in with your username, instead of your e-mail.

 I never even knew I could log in with just my account name!

I've had my account since 2004 and I've always logged in using my e-mail, haha. :D
