Please fix this ASAP. The emails are very annoying.

I've unchecked every emailing and notification, and still get Daily Game updates about every other day. I've unsubscribed over thirty times in the past couple of months.

I've tried to send feedback and questions and customer inquiries, but they don't look like they are really working either, can't tell.

From this thread, it seems that you are not getting any kind of handle on this. Time to completely block your emails.

Livefyre comment notifications aren't working... again

Perhaps the emphasis in the term is upon the "Not..."

@Stankalot: I'm seriously considering filing a formal complaint with BBB, then. Maybe if every one of us did that, CBSi would start taking this issue more seriously. Failing to fix known daily spam messages to its users in three months is not acceptable.

Notification icon said I have 8. When I scroll over or click to see all I get a page with none listed.

I'm finding responses to my comments inside of threads that I don't get any notifications for. It'd be nice to stay engaged in conversations with others that want to dialog, but I won't know unless I look through every countless thread I offer an opinion on. It's funny though, for YEARs the notification system never failed me, then in the course of months it does and continually does.

Last post in here from a mod was from over a month ago. Any idea on an ETA for a fix? This thread has been a sticky since May. I don't think it's imflammatory internet posting or hyperbole to say that a core feature of the forums being broken on and off for four months makes it feel like the forums are not very high priority to Gamespot.

yes we need to the email notification so that we come to know we got new email.

Mine have stopped, finally. I didn't do anything else to try and stop them since flagging the sending email address to auto-trash, so something's changed at least. Still getting on-site notifications, so everything seems to be as I want it.

Apparently, if you update your e-mail address you stop receiving email notifications. Is there a fix for this yet?

@EEMeltonIV: Got another one today with Skyrim mod info. I'm just going to flag this domain as spam. Problem solved.

Same issue as others. Unsubscribed too many times to count. Gamespot is in violation of the CAN-SPAM Act, specifically the "Unsubscribe Compliance" section. CAN-SPAM is enforced by the Federal Trade Commision so I suggest users from the US send their complaints to them rather than the BBB. How does a lawsuit sound, Gamespot? Get your act together, this issue shouldn't have to be solved in court.

Hi guys and gals,

I've not been getting any notifications from the site at all for a while now (I have the worst memory in the universe so I won't even take guess how long it's been this way)

For the most part I'd just like notifications of when someone replies to my comments.

I have all notifications enabled in my account settings, have added the GS notifications address to my email safe list and have had a pretty thorough search for a fix to no avail.

Hope someone can help point me in the right direction/fix the problem (if it's a bug).

Still not getting my notifications for forum replies, still get notification for followed games, finding posts replying to me I get no notifications for, however once in a blue moon one will get through.

Problem with html in notification emails:

I'm not sure if I'm in the right place, but I need help with my password. I've recently changed my email in my GameFAQs account. Now I cannot log in my Gamespot account.

It keeps saying wrong password. I tried to retrieve the password with my email but all I get is the "Woops!" message. What should I do now?

Set my email preferences to disabled, but still getting weekly updates. No contest entries IIRC. I don't remember seeing any contests at all.

How long has it been since the new site was released? How have these issues not been fixed yet? Maybe next time your beta test should last for more than a week. You know, so you actually have time to fix the massive list of bugs that are reported.
