Error when upvoting a comment in an article

Sometimes when trying to upvote a comment (while signed in to the site), the site opens a blank page and only shows this text on top:

{"success":0,"voteFailed":true,"buttonCount":"","csrfToken":"-7qM1BBNMaHWIJF1-hkh15M8NwNueC_65EMqqwz1Vo0"}
The address of the page on browser then is www.gamespot.com/vote/ It doesn't always happen, but sometimes it does. I'm using AdBlock, just in case it makes any difference. The message on that line is quite self-explanatory, but it's weird that it opens up like that, instead of giving a "proper" error message, but at least i think the problem is easier to find this way :) oh, and the browser i'm using is Chrome.
