I don't pretend to be an expert on forum-running, but it seems (to me at least) that most pages load really slowly regardless of the size of the page. Is this a known problem and is there a way to fix this?
There's been many complaints that GameSpot runs slower than other sites, and it's probably because GameSpot has to load a lot of images and content for every page you view. Many users have custom avatars and banners, which can take a while to load depending on the size of the image.
