Why are these insulting posts tolerated? I mean, people who just post in a topic and say something completely irrelevant, "try speaking English" and such. I don't know about everyone else, but i consider it spamming and purposely insulting other users. I believe that these posts should be banned or at least discouraged in some way. I know i may be wrong, but i would like some feedback.

Most people say stuff like "Try speaking English" because what the person said is so impossible to decipher that someone will hopefully tell you what they said after they read your plea. I sometimes say that and people will usually help me out instead of just answering to what the person was posting.

People that say "Try Speaking English" can be reported for "soley intending to annoy and/or offend other users" I believe. Whether or not the person's post is readable, saying that is just plain rude. If I am wrong, please correct me. I think saying that would be a flame or a troll, would it not?

Are you reporting these posts? Depending on the wording, they are most likely trolling.

Well it depends though. Some people purposely write in slang, or whatever - so in this case I don't mind people saying that.

But I agree sometimes when a person is not actually English fluent and you see posts like that - that's messed up

Like many here have said, its just plain rude to say. Sometimes I see somebody saying that they don't speak the best of English but they are trying and sometimes they get just rude responses. A lot of the time, its not what you say but how you say it and this is the case for many of these types of "learn english" posts.
