Do you guys HAVE to shove a giant ad that plugs some Call of Duty 4 footage while I'm opening up topics in the forums? I'm sure you wouldn't want to have a giant newspaper ad shoved in your face while jogging in your neighborhood. Advertising is a necessity to generate income when you allow members to partake in your community for free, but you don't have to employ cheap advertising tactics like intrusive ads. Just because I'm not a paying customer doesn't mean you have to treat me like crap.

at least there are no flashing Viagra ads :P

Most sites have a lot of ads in different areas. It's how they are able to run the site

I had the same problem before I subscribed. The amount of ADs are not THAT much compared to some other gaming sites.

You could try using Firefox with the AdBlock Plus plug-in. Great little app that removes pretty much 100% of advertising on all websites. Can't remember the last time I had to look at an advert on a webpage!
