I was just playing around with the new slide bar, and the game was rated automatically. Is there a reset button that I am not seeing? This isnt that big of a problem, its just that I never acutally played the game.

I like the Reset idea... i mean, it wouldn't be used by a lot of people but i guess it's helpful sometimes

I thought sliding it back to 0 would reset it but seems like the lowest it can go is only 1.0. Yes, a reset button would definitely be beter

I accidentally rated a game I haven't played, and I don't want that on my list of ratings. They really need to put the reset button back! I hope they're working on it.

And are they planning to fix it so that you can have more precise scores again? I can't imagine why they'd get rid of that option. I really need to give precise scores for my games.

Did the same thing earlier today, was just messing around to see how the new system worked out of curousity and wound up rating a game that I've never played or even really looked at much. Just finishing with looking for help on this now, coming up with nothing and I see I'm not the only one who has made this mistake. I don't want to give a game a worse/better score just because I made a mistake, we need that reset button.

I'm assuming so. It was on SamP's list of known issues yesterday.

UPDATE: The pagination bug should be fixed.

Other known issues we're working on:

- "Add to My Games" (tracking) links should be universally present but aren't showing up for some games

- Lack of reset feature for user rating

- New-style review scores not showing up correctly on all relevant pages

- Re-adding "Add Tag" action on summary page

SamP

Just a matter of having a little patience.

I'm never going to botherusing the rating system again. My games have to have exact scores, and I'm just going to be rating them on a Word document from now on. I'm not going to round them to the nearest half. *Starts painstakingly copying down long rating list*

This is correct.

Sadly, what happens when we get a game, that for obvious reasons cannot be a perfect 10... but really Kicks Diablo's (9.6) butt? My personal feeling is that the .5 increment part is flawed, unless ALL GAMES are re-rated by Gamespot as well as users.
