Now that Playstation.com has made changes to the Portable ID system...

Will GS be using it so we can have our PS3 IDs show up in our profile the way our XBL Gamertag shows up, instead of just our PSN ID usernames. I must say that I would rather have my ID in my profile looking all nice and spiffy like the XBL Gamertag:

Instead of just:

PS3 ID

SavoyPrime

This is the current look of the Online IDs in our profiles, which would be fine...if our actual PS3 ID looked like a gamertag instead of just a name. XD

I would also like to know about this. Just having our name there is pretty boring.

I only have a PS3 so that would be kind of nice. I can show of my 10 platinum trophies :P

I like it. I would much prefer it over the current thing.

I'm thinking that this won't be possible. I just looked at mine and it's at a different URL than yours. Plus, some of my friends who haven't setup there's shows access denied page which would not look good on your profile page. ;)

EDIT: Okay, scratch that, mines at the same URL now. It was at fp.profiles.us.playstation.com.s3.amazonaws.com for a bit there. But the same still stands for people who haven't created their portable ID. It just shows an error.
