Problems with playing videos

I can't seem to watch any videos on this site, what video player is being used on this site. I've tried firefox and internet explorer and still nothing works. Please someone help??

@magilly: Are you using ad-blocker or disabling Flash? Either of those things can impact the video player, so turn those off first. If that doesn't help, please describe exactly what you're seeing when you try to watch a video, and what browser/OS you're using.

@magilly: Im using windows vista OS, internet explorer and firefox browsers. The player says its loading video but it never starts up. I do have ad blocker but I have disabled it, and are you saying I should disable adobe flash player as well or leave it on?

@magilly: You should leave Flash enabled - for the time being, Flash works better.

Could you send a screenshot of the error message/loading screen you're seeing? And the URLs of all the pages you've seen it on? Thanks!

Videos are horribly unreliable on this site.

I have adblock running on Chrome. Some videos will run just fine while others will give the message about adblock something, something, something, blah, blah, blah and the video won't play.

I suppose personally, I don't really care if they function correctly for me since I rarely watch videos. I tend to prefer reading information and not listening to someone with an annoying voice, trying to be "funny" or "witty" while doing the video.
