"Error: Invalid Topic"

Quite frequently on the forums, I'll click on a topic, (one that isn't locked) and it brings me to this error page that says "Error: Invalid Topic". Then I have to go back to the board, find the topic again, click on it, and it opens just fine. Why does this happen?

It only happens when I get sent to an advertisement before the thread I clicked. And it happens EVERY time there's an ad, Gamespot should just disable this garbage if they can't fix it.

For me this seems to be fixed for the GS boards, but it still happens at the GameFaq boards. Also, it seems that the ad page has been popping up much more frequently lately.
