The whole site is a mess on chrome ... completely disorganized ... I barely made it here ... it's fine on explorer, is it a problem with the site or my chrome?

It looks fine on chrome for me, can you provide a screenshot please?

Which chrome version are you using? You can check via the about google chrome option in the menu.

I concur, the site works just fine on Chrome for me. If you could send a screen shot of what your error looks like it'll be easier to help.

I say the same for myself on Google Chrome for tablets and GameSpot mobile.

I have a few glitches on this site using Chrome as well. The site takes almost 10 secs to load any page even though I have really fast internet (50mbps) and I cannot comment on news articles or videos. I can only comment on the forum. I tried disabling ad-block and ghostery to see if that was the problem but the issue still persists.

News article/video comments are done by livefyre, so make sure that fyre.co scripts are allowed, etc., but if the comment stream and comment box itself is appearing but you just can't comment on the other hand (not signed in or comments not going through) someone might need to look into your GS-livefyre account link or the livefyre account itself. The slow page loads are known and being worked on, they affect all browsers.

As Rob asked, if you coud provide a screen shot of the "disorganization" that you're experiencing via your chrome browser that would be awesome.

I am actually experiencing a really annoying problem with chrome. Other than being overall a lot slower than the old gamespot, I am having issues watching game reviews. On game review pages that have the video at the top followed by an article review below, the video is being covered up/blocked by a giant short looping video.

For instance, on the GTA V review I get a 15 second long looping video of Franklin standing on a hill with the camera rotating around him. I included a screenshot of it below. I get similar videos on the review pages for Battlefield 4 and AC 4. I have opened the page in FIrefox and the giant video things don't appear and I am able to watch the video reviews just fine, but Chrome is my preferred browser.

Any help/advice/explanation on what this is would be appreciated.

It is messed up that no one is commenting on anything or tracking any bugs other than on Monday each week.

No, it is not happening right now, but happens maybe once a day. There are times I see these large blue letters for some odd reason as the page slowly loads.

Can you try in Incognito Mode and make sure no plugins are running, logged in and out and let me know if any of those combinations solve your problem please?

I'm not placing blame but I just gotta rant a bit to say that Chrome 30 is buggy as hell. Its the first time I've actually thought that about Chrome. You know, in general anything Google is getting buggy or dumb.

Ok rant over...

Opening in incognito actually solved the problem. Turns out the background that goes behind the video has been loading in front of the video. Now I just have to figure out which plugin is screwing it up so I don't have to use incognito all the time...

Just for reference. The buggy chrome extension that was causing problems is DivX Plus Web Player HTML5.
Thanks for the help edgework
