I don't get why this keeps happening!

Every try I try to write a [ spoiler ], this keeps popping up:

Why does this keep on happening?

It happens every time! I can't do [ spoilers] anymore!

No, I do it with no spaces. You know, the normal way.

But that message keeps popping up!

Yeah, I have NO clue on how to get rid of that "error"! I tried pressing the HTML button, but I can't seem to find anything wrong with it!

I've encountered a similar problem by using ALT + 0128 (euro sign).
It took me a while to figure it out what was wrong with my text. I'd copied and pasted certain pieces and broke the hyperlinks, so at first I thought this was the problem. It would be very useful if your flaw in the mark-up would be appointed in bright yellow...

It's also happening with any post that uses BBcode, not just the spoiler tags. They include quote, image, and url tags as well.

I'm getting this same problem, every single time I want to write up a bulletin for the OCU.

It's getting ridiculous. I go through all this time, all this effort to write up something and make sure that it will look nice and proper, and then gamespot rejects it from an HTML error, WHEN I'M NOT **** USING HTML!

[spoiler] test [/spoiler]

I've also been having trouble using the BBcode.

I'm having trouble with this, too. Whenever I use BB Code. It's unfortuante, because I just made a guide that I can't post because it has Spoilers and links. I've tested it in an online HTML Checker, and it was fine (except for spoilers, since the site didn't have a feature for that). But I get the HTML error here.

So far I haven't had any trouble with BB. [spoiler] That's the only thing I use too. I always have the editor off [/spoiler]

I was just able to get rid of the error by breaking up my post. I did not change the content att all, I just made it multiple posts. Perhaps this will work for other users. I hope so. Does anyone know why this works?

That may be fine for a standard forum post, but in my case, it's not possible, because it always happens when I am trying to write up a new bulletin for the OCU, or any other union for that matter.

It's particularly frustrating to perform all the work that I put in to make a quality bulletin for the front-page of the union, only to have it denied by the Gamestop gestapo because of some stupid error in their posting mechanism.

I don't have that problem with Retro Wars, but I do with the forums.

So, is there any kind of solution to this? I tried posting some pics from a recent vacation but no such luck.

Usually if I press accept again it'll work. Second time's the charm for me I guess.

In my case, once it starts doing it, it refuses to stop. It's really aggravating.
