Looks like you already have Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, but I see you don't have these in your collection yet:

Thousand Land (XBox)

Perhaps not extra special, but they do seem fitting.  I don't know anything about the XBox title, but I can recommend Thousand Arms.

I hit the 500 mark a month ago (currently at 518 and climbing). I would like to enter the fray :-P

Right now, I am scoping eBay, I got tax return coming in which I may use to jump start a collection or to help grow one of my current system. Saturn or Genesis is big on the list right now.Yagami-Iori

Genesis is a great way for boosting your collection, I went down to a local pawn store and brought about 30 boxed complete games for around 100 bucks AUS (76 US) and there are plenty of bulk lots around Ebay for Gen games.

Downloadable games? Are we counting these toward our collections totals? I currently own 7 XBLA games (Hexic HD, Gaunlet, Galaga, Doom, Zuma, Uno, and Pac-Man) but I've not added them to my GS collection. I don't really feel like I own them since they are virtually owned. What's the general consensus on this?duncanr2n

The consensus is (I tried to find the post that we covered this) is that it is acceptable to add them to your collection total.  You own the game, you paid for it, and while the ownership cannot be transferred, the rights to your ownership do remain if you want to move them to a different 360 or hard drive.  We made the clear distinction, as you did, between downloading a version of the game for free and paying for it.  Trial versions don't qualify as benig a part of your collection.

Camiller should probably get an honorable mention as a "top mover and shaker" for all those games he's been collecting, although it isn't so easy to quantify of course because he just entered the leaderboard.  Anyway, kudos to Camiller!

It still surprises me that I'm even on that list. I spend entirely way too much money on this hobby.

EDIT: I just noticed the graph of collection size vs. time. I'm going to have to ask that this evidence be destroyed in case my family/girlfriend somehow stumble upon it and have me killed. J/K :)

Unless I find another store like the one I did, it's not going to happen again. It's hard to think of a console that I want tons more games for (the way I did for the PS with this month's purchase). I could go the NES route, but I like my NES collection the way it is.

I think moving forward the only additional systems for which I'll break the 100 mark are the DS, PSP, 360 and PS3 and those won't be done in mass pick-ups, I'll be doing those in real-time.

My collecting goal right now is to get every RPG for the PS, PS2 and PSP, so if anyone has any reference material in the form of lists, I'd appreciate it. If you have said information, please contribute to the relevantly named thread I just started.
