Couldn't have said it better myself.
I usually buy new games for the current generation from Amazon and used vintage games from eBay.

That's exactly the situation for me, too. Used from GamingGenerations, too.
... or craigslist ...
I've been using craigslist the most as of late, but they're all great. For me, it's wherever I can find it in the best condition and for the cheapest price. But if you're putting this to a "deserted island" kind of situation where I can only choose one ... hmm ... I'd go with Amazon. I like the "deal of the day" stuff and the free shipping. You don't have to worry about getting sniped out of a bid, and even though you probably would be paying much more on average than on ebay, you can still find just about anything you're looking for on there even if amazon themselves don't have it.
I'll have to check out that craiglist
But anyway having spent a few days with eBay I really do like it, but I have been sniped a few times. The thing I like about eBay is there is a current flow of new things being added to it everyday, which adds a sense of enjoyment when you find what your looking for. As far as whats better, still more time needed.
