For my SNES and N64 games I found a seller of hard plastic cases (like the kind the rental companies used to store games in) and then I cut down the boxes the games came in to make them look pretty (I know 70% of you will recoil in horror at the thought of the boxes being cut down, but in my mind, at least back then, it beat having a big unstackable pile of grey cartriges).

Have any of you come across similar or better ways of storing your GB and GBA carts?  Mine are all lying in a drawer, which I cannot stand, I'd prefer them stacked on the shelf for easier access.

Yeah, it creeped me out even typing it, but that was from before I was a collector.

[QUOTE="gakon5"]You know how DS game boxes have GBA cart slots in them? You can buy empty DS boxes off of Nintendo's website (store.nintendo.com) just to hold GBA games at only $7 for ten boxes. There's a site called Snackbar games with a whole site section devoted to sleeves for these boxes. Basically you can download massive jpegs of GBA box scans formatted for printing as a DS box sleeve. I've considered trying it out myself (forty boxes is only $28 + shipping). You can find the site here. There's a search form that allows you to search for box scans, and there are some images to help you make your own.

I am SO there, thanks Gakon, this is the solution.

Slightly off topic, but given the tone of the thread I thought Id share this:

I still shudder at the fact that I used to keep EVERY NES/SNES box I had for my games for years. Right before I went to college ('99) I threw them out because I needed the drawer they were in to take to school. Now I hate myself on a regular basis for this travesty. I had probably 30 NES boxes, such as the original LOZ, and 15 SNES boxes. SHAME ON ME.

Anyways, for GBA games I just use some cheap plastic holders I bought from gamestop. It really annoyed me that the games didnt come with the cases like GB games did.

I did go ahead and do this and it works perfectly, the cases look great.
