Is that jelously that you dont have a PS3? Or the fact that you much prefer Xbox360?

I'm in no way jealous I don't have a PS3... I don't want a system that costs so much cash and I only want a handful of games for it.
however, since the comment was made about NINTENDO products, I'm not sure why you chose to bring that up.

Yea I made the right choice, better games for the system...Uncharted 2, MGS4, Infamous, all Ratchet and Clank games, Fat Princess, Flower...I could go on

I'm sure that you'll have fun with your PS3, but words like "better" for ranking one system over another are flame bait I'd like to avoid, not to mention counter to the whole vibe I thought we had going here.I traded my duplicate copy of Diablo on PS1 to jollyroger for:

One of the local video stores here which has started carrying new movies and games over the last year.
They used typical clothing store techniques in this promotion by raising the price of many respectable 29.99 games to 34.99 till the promotion is over, the clerk seemed to imply that they were using this promo to clear a bunch of overstocked PS3 and 360 games left over from Christmas.
Just a couple of online pickups that have dropped through my door in the past few days:
from Zavvi:
Madworld (Wii) - new, £4.95
from CeX:
Final Fantasy: Dirge of Cerberus (PS2) - used & complete, good condition, £10
from eBay:
Blazing Dragons (PS) - used & complete, very good condition, £7.99 (thanks to the CCU for reminding me this gem existed!)
Also, I bought the Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition for £7.49 from work (£6.36 after staff discount).
I snagged a copy of Super Mario Advance, GBA, n. mint, complete last night for $17.95 just prior to confiming my midnight launch pickup of ME2 CE. Then I went back at midnight to get it at a TGI Fridays. My first midnight launch of anything.gmsnpr

Let me know how long of a game it is, I love Raiden.
Purchased a TurboGrafx-16 with 8 games - Keith Courage, Legendary Axe, Tricky Kick, Galaga '90, Alien Crush, PacLand, Bomberman, and Turrican. $30 System and games in original packages - games had manuals and protective sleeves.
I then went out and got Final Lap Twin for $8.55 at a local store.
Wish me luck on finding more games for this system.

Good Stuff! I loved Final Twin Lap...still one of my favorite games from my childhood!
My friend has been bugging me to get this so:
Borderlands, X360, New, $60
Finally got enough points on Club Nintendo so:
Game & Watch Collection, DS, New, FREE! (sort of)
I must say that I was slightly disappointed that they didn't provide any unlockables nor did they include the 'modern' versions that were available with the GB/GBC/GBA releases of the Game & Watch Galleries. But even so, it's a nice little set of games. For me it was really nice, as I actually owned the Donkey Kong Game & Watch oh so many years ago so it was fun to show my son that that was what Dad played when he was young.
I finally decided to take the plunge into buying online. I hit up ebay and made some purchases to fill in gaps, and pick up some rarer NES and SNES games to treat myself after my wife and I got our tax returns! Some of these games I have wanted for a LONG TIME!!!
All games are loose (although near mint), unless stated otherwise.
Some time back, before GameXchange changed their store policy to display all games of a certain title out on the shelves, they used to have you carry a display box up to the front to checkout. When they switched over, I hit them up at the right time and asked what they were going to do with all the GREAT condition display boxes for the SNES games. The store manager told me, they were mine if I gave them a good home... Needless to say, I did. Looking on ebay alone, the boxes alone are easily worth more than $1,000. :)
I wound up with three huge boxes of SNES boxes... I tried to get the NES boxes, but they had already shipped them to a warehouse for... ***faint of heart shield your eyes*** INCENERATION!!! *** :O
I saved the SNES boxes from the same fate. Anyways, here is my haul even though I havn't received them yet, so I won't add them to my list until they arrive.
These are the auctions I already won.
1. Ghost Lion (NES)/ Near Mint, $14.25 shipped/ I have wanted this game for a LONG time... how do I remove it from my wanted list?
2. Magician (NES)/ Near Mint, $12.95 shipped
3. The 7th Saga (SNES)/ Near Mint $16.95 shipped/ I have wanted this "so called", extremely challenging RPG forever.
4. Adventures of Lolo 2 (NES)/ an increasingly rare game to find, Near Mint $18.99 shipped/ I almost bought 3 as well, but my budget was getting tight... lol
5. Donkey Kong Country 3 (SNES)/ Near Mint $18.50 shipped
6. Ultima: Warriors of Destiny (NES)/ Near Mint $23.99 shipped/ Cross another off my wanted list.
I bid on these, but I havn't won yet.
7. Final Fantasy (NES) I can't believe this isn't already in my collection... lol
8. Donkey Kong Country 2 (SNES)
9. Lufia (SNES) I really hope I win this one.
10. Shockwave (NES/ACGI... 1 of 3 titles they made before going bankrupt) Comes with box.
Well, that's it for now! I think I did well, and it will be nice adding some more quality titles to my collection!
Bit of a PS1 haul tonight:
The first buy was all PS1 games, and everything was $2 apiece:
The second buy was $30 for:
The third buy was:
I still don't have 500 PS1 games, but I did get closer tonight (496). I'm not counting any Greatest Hits games in my collection; even if I don't already have the game, I'm not keeping GH versions as my only copies.

I think I did well, and it will be nice adding some more quality titles to my collection!

yay for your luck...as well as purchases. boo for their poor decision of incineration... FYI, Gamestop incinerated a LOT of NES/SNES/Genesis/Saturn and probably others... games...
