Picked up two more X360 RPGs on the way home from a Dr. appointment today:

Eternal Sonata  (Complete, VG) - $22.49

Enchanted Arms  (Complete, VG) - $8.99

I also found a complete copy of Call of Cthulhu (Xbox) today. I had never come across it before and for $15, I was pretty excited! But upon having them open it up for me to inspect the disc...the disc and manual were plastered with 'Blockbuster Video' rental stickers :evil:. I was so disheartened...long story short, I didn't buy it.

Enchanted Arms is a lot of fun. A lot of people I know put it down owing to dislike for a character in your party in the early going, but the mechanics are great and he leaves your party early, anyway, if you do find him annoying. gmsnpr

Well, it sounds like 'a lot of people [you] know' are missing out on a pretty good game because...heaven forbid, there is a gay male character in the video game! :o :? I guarantee if it were two scantily-clad anime girls drooling all over each other, those same people you know wouldn't be able to put the controller down. So far, I've only put about an hour into the game, mostly with the tutorials and roaming around the campus. But in all honesty, I find the banter between Makoto, Toya, and Atsuma..along with all the silly fan club kids..pretty comical! I'm actually a little disappointed to hear Makoto won't be around long?! Oh well... I'm glad to hear that you thought the game was a lot of fun though! I really think I'm going to like the battle system! :D

I picked up EA at GC for $10 during a B1G1 on new games sale...  it's well worth it... like I said, this whole generation seems to just put auto-hate on RPGs... and stick a MALE homosexual in it... and BAM it's the plague. but what doyou expect when racia, religion and orientation based hate is at an all-time high? not to mention the education system is at an all time low?

I just go into games expecting fun... I'm almost never disappointed... maybe 3 games in 20 years have made me say... "no thanks"

Had a bit of an eBay splurge.  I had a burning desire to get my grubby mitts on some of the cIassic PC games of my youth.

Lot 1:

Beneath a Steel Sky (PC) - used, disc and manual only, very good condition

Discworld (PC) - used, disc and manual only, good condition (Finally! Never actually owned the first DW game until now!)

Dragonsphere (PC) - used, complete, good condition (Strange one, came in a weird hardback book thingy instead of a box)

Lot 2:

Gabriel Knight II: The Beast Within (PC) - used, discs and manual only, very good condition (Ahh! FMV!)

Police Quest Collection (PC) - used, discs and manual only, very good condition (Like the KQ and SQ collections I have, this is the old 90s compilation rather than the newer budget release)

Just over £12 for the whole haul, most of that thanks to a bidding war for the Discworld lot.
