Spent $40 at half price books and added 5 new strat guides to my MGS collection all in pretty good shape.

the Apple II cords don't differ much from current PC tower cords, though personally, I'd just use spare mac cords... they look better...  but great haul!

you know what? I'm sick of Texas Hold Em poker. there's now 3 versions of it on there... why don't we get something else? like I donno... a poker game where we can play REAL poker...  or at least have the option to make our own rules... so we could make a more pleaent game? just becuae people have gotten so unintelligent that Texas Hold em counts as a sport now... doesn't mean it's the best poker game... nor is it the only one...

I picked up a second copy of Super Mario All-Stars Anniversary, you know, just in case.

I was at my local gamestop sunday and was asking about something for Metal Gear, and when the guy was looking it up he saw a game called "The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2" for the PS2 for $2.99. A store about an hour away and he had it shipped to the store. Fast forward to today and I now have it. Its disc only, but was only three bucks and I wanted to see how it was.Republican11

2nd and 3rd copies of Super Mario Allstars Limited Edition:

2nd copy: Target. The last copy they had. Box is in good shape, but there are some scrapes on the sides in the printed gold color...

3rd copy: Bestbuy.com. Decided to see what happens if I got a copy from Bestbuy's warehouse, since they probably don't have the anti-theft cables on them there. Well, I was right that this copy wasn't destroyed from the anti-theft cables, but the box is in no better shape due to dented in corners and a scraped side (ostensibly due to shipping)

BTW: The first copy I got during the first release of this game. This one was a gift from my wife from Bestbuy. The problem with this copy is that a Bestbuy employee used the box as a writing surface and wrote "myrewardzone.com" on the box and circled a portion of a receipt.  There is no ink but a clear indentation from this.

I am beginning to think it impossible to acquire a non-molested copy of this game! :(

Now I need to decide what to do. Keep and open one, sell the other two ... or keep one unopened, open one and sell the other?..

good stuff... you know, recently I found out that the ol GBs had a 3 digit make number visible in the battery area... and that the 001-0010 numbers are all super common except 001 and 000... though 000 may bot actally exist... and 001 probably never made it outside the factory tests...
