I picked up Red Dead Redemption GOTY edition for $25 used/complete for the 360 about a week ago. I'm loving it so far I just got to Mexico.Republican11

I love the story in that game but the countless amount of stuff in that game I couldn't deal with anymore made me stop playing it... namely the unskippable overly long animations, the travel times between places, drowning, and the aiming.

 Thanks Waffle! I was especially surprised by the old DOS games that I found in complete shape. That is definitely becoming an increasing rarity these days. btw have you tried 'Magic: The Gathering Online' before? It looks pretty interesting... 

I haven't, I thought it costs money to use...  so I never tried it. though I like being able to build my own deks... which is what is sorely lacking from the XBLA/PSN games... even Yu-Gi-Oh lets you build your own decks, MTG shouldn't havea problem with that... but I guess since it is the way it is, it allows them to release a a game a year that has no real changes... just like sports games :( freaking greed... *sigh* anyway, back on topic, if it's free, lemme know, I'll check it out.

Sadly, I run into a lot of complete and NEW old ass PC games, I just don't like paying for them... it's gotten really bad since Good Will was sold to a non-charity-based company that only wants to see profit...

I'll check out the MTG game and see what the deal is with it. I agree if it is a pay-as-you-go or pay-to-buy-card-packs I'll have nothing to do with it.  As for Good Will gone bad I also see a few local stores trying to gouge the public. One in particular has their games prices higher than the Willow Video Game store I frequent. Ridiculous really.

BTW you might already know this but if you see any old DOS RPG games complete/new some of them are really worth picking up even for their resale value. The Ultima, Might & Magic, Magic Candle, and Wizardry series come to mind. I guess as a general rule most old RPG  from any console or system tend to be worth something to someone.
