Well I don't know about anyone else but as far as I'm concerned, here's some that I would consider on the 'rare' side. And by rare, I don't necessarily mean that they expensive, just that I rarely see them new or used in stores. Also, I am including some multiplatform titles because I've found that sometimes I'll find a gazillion of a certain game on PS2 but hardly find any on Xbox. When I purchase a mutliplatform title, I usually will default to Xbox as the console of choice as it tends to look a little better on that system over the GC or PS2.
First up, multiplatform:
Exclusive (not counting PC)
Now, one thing you should know about me (which some of you may already know) is that if it's a Platinum Edition or if it's not in the retail case (disc only sale in a generic case), I don't ever look at those. So some of those titles may exist in that form but I don't ever see them, cause they are dead to me.
I'm sure there are others, but there's a start.
orta isn't cross-platform... I agree with your list, I will add a few right now but not all the ones I know of... Crimson Sea is only rare in origional solo release, PGR 1 &2 are also only rare in solo non GH release. I wouldn't call Gun Valkary rare because my Wal*Mart still has a bunch listed at 29.89 and I got mine in a discount bin for 1.99... I'll add: Kakuto Chojin - reason for rarity is that it was vaulentarily pulled from stores for religiously offencive background lyrics... it's a much better fighter then DoA or Tekken. Steel Battalion - reason for rarity is that they are limited in number AND somewhat useless now... 2 verients exist. A green button controller (version 1) and a blue button controller (version 2, re-release) Spikeout Battlestreet - low production numbers... Call of Cathulu - low production numbers GTA San Andreas (origional edition) - HOT COFFEE! Volvo Drive For Life - promo game, really only worthwile if you own a wheel. Air Force: Delta Storm - low production on the XBOX, other systems were high. MvC2 - !? Digimon Rumble Arena - low numbers. Digimon World 4 - low numbers. more later. I'm glad we did this, I might try to get a PS2 and GC one up since the 3 are going out it's a good time to pull togeather this list.Well I don't know about anyone else but as far as I'm concerned, here's some that I would consider on the 'rare' side. First up, multiplatform:
- Gladius
- Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (I don't think this had a very large print run on any platform as it was made after Chamber of Secrets. EA had made a HP and the SS on the PS1 and PC in 2001 which I believe was right around the release of the GC, Xbox, and PS2 so I think they wanted to revisit the game once better hardware was available but since there was really no movie release to help hype the game release it did not sell as well as the other HP's on the same systems)
- Panzer Dragoon Orta (I used to see alot of these but lately I've not seen them very often)
- Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
- Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II
- Psychonauts (I see millions of these on PS2 relative to what I see on Xbox, not exactly rare yet, but I think it may be later)
Exclusive (not counting PC)
- Crimson Sea
- Gunvalkyrie
- PGR
- PGR 2 (I don't actually ever recall seeing this so I'll chalk it up as rare)
- Arx Fatalis
- Scrapland

I think Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is rare and one of the most expensive xbox games there is. Call of Chutulu is another that you won't see very much.
Fatal Frame 1 had some value for a while but I've noticed it has gone down in price at EB/Gamestop.
My 2 picks for games that will be hard to find in the future are
Dreamfall and Samurai Showdown 5. They have come out at the end of the life cycle and will probably be overlooked.
In my collection here are the ones owned by the fewest other gamespot members:a few of those are rare the rest are low because they aren't very popular... we should play Shattered Union online sometime, I've only gotten to play it online twice (see review) and I'd like play with someone who isn't a D-bag.

This is a great thread, I think we should add some of the titles listed here to the Brand New Buried Treasure thread.duncanr2n
