Victory!!! (Recently finished games)

I started this thread for people to post stories, and/or pictures of games that they have recently beaten!

Here is mine for tonight.

I have been playing The Adventures of Lolo (NES) on and off for the past three days, and I finally beat it (without cheats or any kind of walkthrough at all)!!! WOOHOOOO!!! That game has given me problems since I was 4 or 5 years old! My parents still play it from time to time, and in all the years have never been able to beat it! Sorry for getting so happy about beating a strategy puzzle game, but it has been a long time coming... I finally destroyed the Devil King. Oh, and Lolo got the kiss from Lala, so I guess everybody is happy!!! LOL :P

I got a screen shot at the end of the game. It just says Game Over in white on a baby blue background,and you can't get it off the screen unless you power down or reset! I will try and get the horrible picture I took up sometime tomorrow.

ok so i finished cod:waw (good story but way 2 short). what made this weird was the fact that some glitch happened and i actually killed every nazi on the map, but nothing happened. so i spent an hour running around with nothing to do.

i had to replay the stage over, and this time i got to finish it. 

it isn't amazing story or anything, but just the fact that i finished a game has to be some kind of accomplishment (before this, i haven't finished a game in about 6 months-2 much multiplayer )

I beat a couple of games I hadn't previously finished.

Wow!  I can't remember everything I've beaten, but nowhere near as many as you guys.  So far, off the top of my head, I can remember:

Fallout 3 (360)
Gears (360) -- Shout out to GameCAMiller for the co-op help on this one!

I'm going to start keeping track of all of the games I have beaten as well. What I mean is that I really like how a couple of you know the exact day you completed everything. What do you do, keep some kind of a record in a database? Or photographic memories..... or... LOLWitIsWisdom

Google Doc. Has the title, platform, date, and any other pertinent information about the game I've beaten. I "started over" in mid-2006 and have been keeping track of the games I've finished ever since. A sample entry:

i'm going to have to do this....i need to find a way to motivate me to put down multiplayer games and actually finish those half completed games i have on my ps2/ps1 memory card

just finished

star wars:fu (ps3)- april 17th

the game glitched on me 2x today. once while i was fighting the last boss....this game was like grinding teeth @ times...couldn't get over the fact at how frustrating this game is at certain parts....

9/24 for the year!

The first two Penny Arcade games, Resident Evil 5, Fallout 3's Operation Anchorage expansion, and Fallout 3's The Pitt expansion, and Ys on Master System are everything I've beaten this year, I think.  I need to finallly finish Otogi, but I'm not yet up to the task.

took me hours and hours and hours.... and hours, but I finally got 1000/1000 on Dynasty Warriors Gundam.

Other than that, gundam vs gundam for PSP was defeated a few days ago.

I've been in quite a gundam mood lately, even managed to get a bunch of the series on dvd.

I'm going to start keeping track of all of the games I have beaten as well. What I mean is that I really like how a couple of you know the exact day you completed everything. What do you do, keep some kind of a record in a database? Or photographic memories..... or... LOLWitIsWisdom

finished the career mode for skate (ps3) may 8,2009 2:52 a.m.

sweet, thats the third game i finshed this year...hopefully i can finish at least 10-15 by the end of this year....

Today I finished Altered Beast (Arcade Version) as part of Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection on 360. I'd forgotten how much better the arcade version looks, sounds and plays than the ports. Fun game.gmsnpr

picked up sonic's ultimate collection as well....its awesome. i'm playing shining force right now...reminds me why it was my favorite game of all time until kotor came out

Just took down Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes (Xbox).  It's pretty short, but the pacing is a bit inconsistent.  Fun overall, though.

11/24 for the year.

Just finished a Halo run through on Normal with my daughter, her first time through and her first shooter.  She picked it up real quick and was trashing fools, calling grenade throws, and taking down heavies like a pro. 

Brought a tear to my eye.

shining force 1 for the first time on the sonic's ultimate genesis collection (ps3)

that was awesome. when i was younger i couldn't get passed chapter 2...but i blitzed through it in 7 sessions. that felt satisfying. stil #2 on my all time games list. that makes 4 games this year....hopefully i can finish at least 10 games this year

that was awesome. when i was younger i couldn't get passed chapter 2...but i blitzed through it in 7 sessions. that felt satisfying. stil #2 on my all time games list. that makes 4 games this year....hopefully i can finish at least 10 games this year

if you have a gamegear you should check out shining force gaiden as well...i heard it ties 1 and 2 together.... and thee is a shining force :sword of hadjya on game gear as well but i don't know if thats essentially the same game. yea it was awesome....
