I've been playing an awful lot of Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 4 for PC lately and I gotta say, its absolutely sublime. I just wondered if any of you guys play the game and if you do, which year have you modded your game to?

I have the same but it runs good enough for me, the game is great. IMO its one of the best, if not the best F1 game along side Formula 1 97(PS) and F1 Challange 99-02(PC).

^^yep. Although rfactor has to be the one to beat ATM due to the amount of mod teams that have left GP4 and F1C for it. Some cool 2006 mods with 2007 in the works.

I'm using the 2006 mod in GP4 and the graphics on the cars are really really good. I'm just having a little bit of difficulty improving the textures of things like grass and gravel.

yea Rfactor mod list looks extremely impressive.......when i saw Rfactor Central my jaw dropped. but GP4......looks reasonable....its in the "Heroes Collection", so ill buy it if i see it for $20 Australian. 1. Is it going to be bad with 512mb when you start a race ? 2. consistant framrates ? 3. FFB ? for my Logitech DFP cheers

You should be fine with 512mb. I haven't come across any framerate issues at all myself. If by FFB you mean Force Feedback then the answer is yes it is in the game. I'm not sure how to configure it myself though because I'm not using a steering wheel to play the game.

Does anyone know where to find Grand Prix 4?  I have heard it is very good but I can not find it. :(  Also about rfactor my friend has it and he says it is amazing but you have to pay 25 pounds! :(

You can get Grand Prix 4 over at Amazon. Its costs around the same as RFactor does. I'm quite interested in RFactor myself but I'm not shelling out £25 for it right now. If anyone comes across a way to get it cheaper I'd appreciate it if they let me know.
