.......win the WDC? You must admit its lookin good for him. Hes passed every test thrown at him so far in the form of pressure from alonso/kimi/massa, withstood the british hype, and held his head in the chaotic GP at canada

Lookin forward to ur opionions on this 8)

He has all the tools to win.... but It's McLarens choice who wins (depends if Dennis lets him... or has to give the wins to Alonso)

If this was asked at the start of the season, I would've said not a chance in hell. He's good, but not that good.

Now, with every passing race, my belief in him is growing stronger and stronger. I'm on the verge at the moment where I think yes he can win it, but with his 3 main rivals within 21 points of him (which, at this stage, isn't THAT much of a gap), his consistency cannot let slip still. As long as he can stay on the podium, he'll be World Champion I feel. A mistake during qualifying/race is inevitable, but let's hope for the meantime that holds off.

He cam win it,you saw that even Alonso can make mistakes(quite many the last race),while Hamilton was keeping his cool.

IMO, We are getting Waaaaaayyyy over our heads here, only 6 races in his career we are talking WDC? hold on, he is a 22yr old Rookie, i'm not saying he is a bad driver, not at all, he is a fantastic driver who reminds me of Senna, but he will make a mistake this year, and i bet that the media will swarm over it saying "is it the end of lewis" etc. we need to leave him to do his job, if he makes mistakes, it happens, let him get on with it, we can't expect him to be perfect.

I reckon he is capable of doing it, but i would hate it if he were to make a mistake that cost him the title, but the more and more he is successful like this, the harder the fall will be when he crashes that car.

I want to see Kimi win, but the smart money is looking at Hamilton atm.

In Hamilton we have a rookie thats good on the street (Canada, Monaco, Australia) good on the high speed circuits (Canada) good on the low speed circuits (Monaco) good on the race circuits (Malaysia)

The only thing I see possibly tripping him up is Spa, but so far Hamilton has been right on the money! Good on him, I wish him luck.

Yes I think he can. Having won today, not making any errors he seems to be going from strength to strength. He's ten points ahead of Alonso and god knows how many in front of Massa, so I think he may be able to pull it off.

What interests me is the fact that he's not here by chance, he's here because he makes no mistakes, he's a brilliant driver and he's got amazing stamina. He's not a rookie, he's a professional who is as good, if not better than the current World Champion. Whether he's as good as Michael Schumacher is debatable, but in F1 it's hard to compare when the cars change so often. He can win the World Championship, and I really hope he does.

I think no.... Just because you can't win as a rooky driver just hopped in Formule 1, sure he is always on the podium, sure he has won 2 races, but just like last year you all know that ferrari won't give up so see for yourself and myself too in a couple of races if Hamilton still got it to stay on the podium.... who will know maby BMW will win one or two races.

I hope for hamilton he can win the WDC in his first year but you never know :)
