PRE-race Press Release - BATracing Championship -- Imola GP

The Honda team would like to formally apologise for its lack of effort in recent races.  They have had computer(and internet) problems of late but hope that they can start clawing back a few points now that everything is back on track.

Free Practise & Qualifiying underlined the fact that I am a contender for the F1PU Drivers Championship, After an unlucky spell in the last 3 races with no finish and multiple un schduled stops, things are finally looking better as I have taken 1st in Practise & Qualifiying by a large gap :P Koh is also doing well at the moment after I shared my setup :wink: Hopefully all goes well in the race and I hope to be a top the podium come the end of the race.

Aaron : I am satisfied with Practise & The Warm-Up, I felt I could have done better in the Qualifiying, But all looks well so a podium is on the tables, Ekberg has been great these past few races and is showing F1PU what Midland is made of.

Keith : Qualifiying was a disaster. I was fastest in Free Practise & The Warm-Up so I definetely have race pace. I am confident of a podium finish as the Toyota's are the best setup car :D

"Mclaren are currently struggling to find out whats wrong with the cars, we had a very good start to the season but our qualifying and warm up sessions have not been good. we are working together to figure out the problems and resolve them as quickly as possible and retain our race winning form"

Koh's Press Release:  I'd like to thank Renault, Michellin, and my crew for a fantastic job.  Congratulations to Watson for bringing in pole, he needs to bring in some points because of the past results.  We hope that our warm-up was good enough as we manage to finalize on perfecting our set-up.  Now, we need to go and get a 1,2 for Renault.

Our qualifying has been good but I don't know what happened to my teammate.  Anyways, we didn't manage to improve our setup and our pace has been the same on slick hard tires.  Renault is putting up a good show, but I only hope to bring in some good points and pray for no mechanical trouble.
