" My practice laps were a bit rough, and i could only get one decent time, after qualifying we hope to fine tune the car and adjust the set-up during the warm-ups"
Well Practice was a complete waste for us with only getting no laps timed. Qualifying turned out decent in our minds considering the lack of practice. Warm-up sessions will be very important this weekend and we believe to make some well needed ground up.
"From third place in Sepang to pole position in Melbourne, what a absolutley mad week it's been for the Midland F1 team! We're confident in our car and strategy and ready to prove the naysayers--who said Midland had no business challenging for race wins--wrong once and for all. I'm hoping my teammate will gain a few positions on the grid so we can enter the race for the constructor's title as well."
We had a bad qualifying because we were slowed by others. But now our warm-up looks positive and I hope we can bring in some good results, score some valuable points for the championship.
PRESS RELEASE: Ali, McLaren Mercedes "This was a bad weekend for us so far, but our qualifying positions are ok and we still have a chance to compete for the podium's positions. I had problems with my car which affected my qualifying session a lot, and even my warm up session turned out pretty bad. Yet, I believe that I have a good car setting now and I'll be battling for the 1st position."
