The F1PU Simulated Season (Formula 1 '06 for PS2)

Hey Guys!

Welcome to the F1PU Simulated Season, based upon the Formula 1 '06 game for the PS2. Here, you have your chance to compete against 21 other members of the F1PU for a chance to be in Aloushi's soon-to-be-recreated Hall Of Fame, and a special signature emblem. These are the rules of the Simulated Season:

1. RACE DISTANCE: 50%
2. WEATHER: Heavy Rain
3. RACE ORDER: Will be based on the 2007 season where possible. Changes to this are: San Marino will take place as the last race of the season, and the German GP will take the place of the Belgian GP. All the remaining tracks are part of the 2007 season.
4. GRID ORDER: For Australia, this will be the reverse of the 2006 Driver's Championship. Therefore, Yuji Ide will be on pole position, and Fernando Alonso will be 22nd. From Malaysia to San Marino, the grid will be determined by the previous race results in reverse. For example, Michael Schumacher wins in Australia, which means he will start 22nd in Malaysia. if Christijan Albers retired first from Australia, then he would start first in Malaysia.
5. POINTS SYSTEM: No different to the Current System

Since no more people are willing to sign up why can't the people who've already signed up choose a 2nd driver because there's more than enough drivers for all the people who've signed up?

So it could kind of be like our own teams.

Good idea. As only 10 people have been chosen, I'll take two people so then everyone has two drivers, so I'll pick Barrichello for my first driver, and whoever is left after everyone else chooses will be my second driver. Because of this, Instad of having actual teams for the Constructors' Championships, our own two drivers will mke the teams this year, I.E. Barrichello & my 2nd driver will be "Team Redders", and etc. until everyone is chosen.

However, Kipi & Blaze are no longer visiting the F1PU, therefore we have that issue to tackle. Aloushi, or anyone else for that matter, if you can find a way through this problem then it would be much appreciated.

Well... most people seem to have one good driver and one average. If we can find another person to join, you can chooe one of those two, and the second new entry can hve the option you didn't choose. Good idea?

Okay I figured it was a tad bit unfair, but worth the shot, eh?

You must have one slow, cheap PS2 then if it's taken more than a month to get it going.

Hire a trained engineer to fix your PS2 or scrap the whole thing because we've all been waiting for ages and ages and ages.

Am so sorry Belgamor, won't make any fusses but have been real busy of late with c/w and stuff. I would suggest someone else do it but... not like there's anyone around... I think we're gonna have to axe this sadly :(

I think it's sommut to do with the disk, coz it takes an eternity to try and read the thing, yet some of my other games work fine. I just haven't had the time at all recently though to even attempt trying. I can only apolgise for this not getting anywhere though. Whenever I do get some actual free time, if I can get it to work, I'll try and start it again, but in the meantime I don't think it's possible. Again,I sincerely apologise.

That's OK I'm sorry that I'm a bit impatient and it's a shame there'll be no tournament but that doesn't matter.
