THE GRAVEL TRAP: Copy Shock

Copy shops usually review their charges at the end of the year, but a sudden shortage of A4 paper has meant a mid-season price hike, long after teams have set their annual copying budget.

Steven Smudge of 'The Copy Shop' in Bicester, who (apparently) services a number of local teams, said this morning; "The price of A4 will have to go up from 4p to 6p per sheet, this will also have a knock on effect on A3 which will rise by tuppence to 9p a copy."

Mr Smudge added, "Prices may be going up, but we do offer a discount on anything over 700 pages and discretion is our middle name.
