Shiva's ugly to me this time...

Now I've always been a fan of scantily dressed women in gaming but this time it's doesn't seem to hit the same chord as it did last time. The freaky head piece and the finger claws are a little scary for me. I agree that this sci-fi change is a little much bit it doesn't look like they ruined it...her face is still quite quite nice to look at.

Yes and no. Well. I remember hearing that the summons will take different forms. Shiva can be in "normal mode" which is the one we all know and love and the other one would be the "motorcycle mode".

Also if you're too lazy, here's a part of the article:

"Famitsu reveals that the bike is a transformed version of Shiva, the water-based summon spell that makes a brief appearance in the Jump trailer. In FFXIII, Shiva takes the form of a sister pair, and both sisters are made up of bike parts, complete with a wheel behind the head. Toriyama wouldn't spill the details, but hinted that you might be able to ride the transformed Shiva in battle, in addition to using it as a means of transportation when outside of battle"
