I thought CG being compared to artwork was the problem ? Now, you're dismissing my post because it's Kingdom Hearts ?

Fine, I'll post any Nomura-designed character from any FF game that you want. It makes no difference to me, I still firmly believe that none of Nomura's works are anywhere as artistic as Amano's artworks.

And youre right, Amano is more artistic, there is no doubt about that, but then again, I dont think you play FF because of how beautiful Amano's paintings look, and correct me if I'm wrong, Nomura makes very similar characters, but so does Amano.

Let's see...as general game design, I think I liked FF7 the most. Don't ask me why, I just found the way it was designed so harsh and gritty; perfect for the tone of the game. But my favorite thing EVER in the FF games is one of the beginning FMVs in FFX.

I sort of like the way FFXIII looks but I dunno. I hope to see more stills as the year goes on so I can get a better idea of all the character's looks.

So, Kingdom Hearts is too simple, huh... What game would be a good example ? I could compare Final Fantasy to Final Fantasy, but would it make much of a difference ? Just look at how similar these two look.

FF9's would have been great if the in-game graphics is not pixelated. Anyway, I love big heads. It's a very cute style. It's lie FFVII's no nose-no mouth in-game graphics style.

Of course, I also love FFX. I like Nomura's style. Spikey-headed heroes are cool. :P

I see youre point, they are indeed similar, yet, I don't really see whats so wrong about it, don't you like that look for characters?

I've seen alot of artwork from Amano, and the same thing happens, always that particular look since I've actually mistaken a Terra painting with a Faris painting, and have you seen how similar Firion and Locke are? I have...

But, and yeah im done yet, I know how you feel, my first reaction to Tidus clothing was a big and loud "WTF!?", but, over the time I managed to get involved in that anime look and know I think its the best.
