They may or may not. This is interesting. What brings you here?jdr_172000
Just thought I'll stop by
As good bussiness icon, they know that it will be VERY profitable to remake FFVII. The demand is already there... Actually, minimal advertisement is needed if ever they will remake FFVII.Fantasy_Gamertrue but imagine how much square would put into advertising for a remake that would sell a PS3 right there
It's not a matter of "if", but "when."DaveGamer_05lol like I've said, Square-Enix HAS to know that all the fans want it. But your right, it probley is a "when". Although they are pretty busy with the Final Fantasy XIII stuff, I'm not sure it's going to be anytime soon, because Final Fantasy XIII is a huge project. Also there is the fact that people might get stuck on those games and then forget about Final Fantasy VII (I know us hardcore gamers won't lol)
Well! why cant they do a compromise. There are many other games that have two or more combat systems. Like the old Arcanum (and i think Star Ocean also had the choise ... and probably some other games i dont remember right now), it hade the choise in the start to choose "turn-based" or "Real-time" action.ooooo nice idea there. Your completly right. They really could comprimise. But I'm not sure they will. But I hold out hopes because they are breaking new ground with Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy XIII right now.
In that way you could satisfy both camps. If you're a old timer then choose "Turn-based , Original battle mode", if you are new to the series and dont like turn based, select the "Real-time Modern battle mode"! Containing the same stuff, just that one is based on tactics, the other one rely more on reflexes! ...
Its not that imposible!
