With square teaming up with other companies to make new games, ff really WILL die out but everyone reading this will surely be gone by the time FF's dead.

Thats the key point. i dont think it ever will for a game as popular as FF
I really hope that the FF series will never end, well not until i'm dead... But i'm sure it will take a whole lot of time before Square-Enix stops making FF. The only and only thing for now that would stop them making FF's would be that they make a really really bad game, a 100 times badder than FFX-2.. :shock:
Well their imaginations are over the moon and since the game is not based on any reality its easy for guys like them to come up with a new fantasy everytime. So i dont think its goin down anytime soon

and in a timely manner...oh wait I forgot we're talking about SE ;):P You see in all actuality they could have the games done in a mere year and a half, but they like to build up the suspense so everyone gets hyped up about it, but when they do they screw up during the development process and have to go back and fix it and because they don't have any real ability it takes them a really long time. In conclusion SE and it's employees are screwups who are to busy twiddling their thumbs trying to build up hype they screw themselves and make everyboday mad at them.
Exactly they know people will buy their games so they don't try to make them timely. They just wait around forever to make us get even more anticipated.
yup its unfortunate too, because they'd make a helluva lot more money by producing more games for each generation of a console and we'd be happier, they're basically the microsoft of RPGs because they know no matter how many people they piss off people will still be forced to by their product, damn them all
The only problem with doing too many is flooding the market. I understand why they'd want to pace themselves and spread out the releases, but they spread them out too much.
well yeah thats true, I mean considering a typical generation of gaming is 5 years you dont want 10 FFs or even 5 but 2 (i'm not counting X-2 cause it doesnt count) thats pathetic, and if 2 is your goal for release at least be honest with gamers I just dont see the reason to hype it up, why the hell do you need to hype up FF, FF creates its own hype because its considered the bread and butter of RPG gaming, just like D&D back in the day, just be honest aboutg release dates and it will still sell like hotcakes
