Type-0 is getting talked about because people want it not the music game. Type-0 has more to it. I will get the music game though.
I could get it for PSP but I have no interest in the VITA so if does come out for that then tough luck for me.Balmane
Maybe Vita will be more interesting once Sony gets more quality games. ;)Â

But I already have a PS3 and I would rather spend money on other things than another PSP which I rarely play in the first place. Maybe if I won the Lotto :PÂ

Why do you need another PSP?:PI'm pretty iffy on whether or not I really want to spend my money on Theaterhythm. It just seems like such a waste of resources and money for Square to make this game. Why not use those same resources and money to make something people actually are clamoring for? Like, a FFVII remake or FFXV? I'm not especially fond of the music games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band...I think they're really sort of boring to be honest. I'm a real musician. I'm a vocalist and have been in many bands and actually played live shows. The whole band gaming thing is just ridiculous and doesn't come close to the feelings of being in a real band. *sigh* I digress. Anyway, I'm sure I'll ultimately end up picking this game up but it will probably go to the back of the playing list until I get through some of my other games. The Last Story is coming soon and I intend to put some time into playing through it first. :)
SE seems to think that FF isnt popular anymore so they want to change their styles. The problem is all the Call of Duty manics who just focus on shooting and killing people. Theres other games besides COD too. SE's games have been just fine' but since the outburst of mature shooting and violence games SE has decided to turn FF into an action based preformance series.I'm pretty iffy on whether or not I really want to spend my money on Theaterhythm. Yeah, I agree with your sentiments. I'm not a COD or Halo guy. I hate them both with a passion and I just don't understand their appeal at all. I guess I'm the type that enjoys a little depth to my gaming. SE really genuinely doesn't seem to care whatsoever about it's top franchise anymore. I think the very little care they put into making FFXIV proves that. Hell, they've had to go back and pretty much re-create the whole game because of how bad it was! However, FFXIV is an example of SE trying to cater to what's popular. MMO gaming is HUGE. Not just with RPGs but with FPSs as well. Only, for me, the FF series has never been about team work and talking smack back and forth with others. Its always been about the experience, the story, and the characters. SE needs to get back to what makes the FF series great. Simplify it and stop trying to recreate the wheel. I, for one, would be perfectly happy if they went back to the ATB system and the old style level-up system. I want a steam-punk Final Fantasy game that is not only beautiful to look at but has a great story and makes you care about the characters. SE can reclaim it's throne it just needs to stick to what its good at.
Theatrythm is planned for early July and I am not sure what you guys know about the game but you pick from all 13 FF's and there are 3 segments to each. Field- in which it plays field music from that FF as you travel through that FF scenery. Battle- in which it plays battle music while you fight FF villians. Event- which you go through events of that FF.

Exactly, SE just cares on the new and rely on the NOWs top gaming strategys to fix them. I dont want to FF be that kind of game where you can people in half with swords and spears, and is rated M when you go to Walmart and "Hey dont I need parent with me to help me buy this game""Oh no way all the kids your age are playing this because ITS SO VIOLENTE! I would agree that if SE were to make a remake of FFVII theyd become as popular as ever.Ive seen little about it. I wonder if they have One Winged Angel.:PTheatrythm is planned for early July and I am not sure what you guys know about the game but you pick from all 13 FF's and there are 3 segments to each. If one winged angel is not on there I will be super suprised. It is only the most popular song in the FF franchise:P
