a remake is not needed. They should concentrate on future titles. If thy did remake any of them, it would have to be totally revamped; the same story is not worth it. For example Metal Gear Solid 1 on the Game Cube

A graphic intensive game would be awful with their loading time, like Y's: Ark of Napishtim for the PSP. It looks great but the fact that it has to load for everything (world map, towns, going in or out of the house) is ridiculous, almost more than 10 to 15 seconds everytime.
dudes, you have to look at this like a capitalist, ff7 was received way better than ff8, in america and japan, and since so many spin-offs are being spawned of said ff7, keep dreaming for the ff8 remake etc. because it won't happen.
except maybe something like ff chronicles or ff origins along those lines, with maybe a couple extra things, thats it.Â

I don't really mean a remake visually. In fact I'd be fine if the visuals were downgraded a bit. I mean adding other things wise.
I wish for a remake, not only of the graphics but of the translation and some other side-quests that will enhance the story... And as always... My wish for a Movie and Music materia.

It's not too late! Try to find a used copy or borrow from someone who has it. Yeah nowadays it's pretty cheap if you can find it anywhere. I know at my local EB Games they have a few copies(that won't help you, but it might tell you where to start looking).

ive never played on 8 so i couldent care less if they do a remake, but id probably buy it if it was made for the PS2

It all depends on the optimization of the game, too. Also, the loading times would be super fast if they just released a firmware that allowed processor speed control. 333 mhz would eat load times for breakfast. Right now the PSP is clocked down to 2/3 of it's full potential and only runs at 222 mhz.....:(
