Rumors have now surfaced that it is in production and it will use FFXII's battle system.

Well, still spending two years on a game that the graphics need to be updated could make just as much as FFXIII.

I bet Square-Enix doesn't know how much money a remake would make.

The Gamespot article early this year raised everyones spirit about the chances of it being made. Square Enix said the project wasn't on their schedule but it was something to look into. So far there is NO Final Fantasy VII remake in production. But the question is not if they'll make it, the question is when?

there is already one. unless you mean for ps3. if they did that then i would have no idea what they were thinking.

LEts hope they do it with the love and dedication they had for FFVII the 1st time round!
