Ah cmon Infernape isnt bad, I used to not like Palkia but that changed. they didnt look like pokemon but then i looked at mr mime and jynx and even like hitmonlee/chan and decided it was ok lol

I do that all the time. I hooked up my tv as a second monitor now that I'm back home so I'm watching music videos while I post. All this pokemon talk and the fact that it is summer has me wanting to get back into pokemon. I kinda wanted to do Soul Silver but my friend and I always restart and play pokemon together so we can compare and discuss our progress. We aren't gonna do Soul Silver though, we are going to do Black/White since the 5th gen is the only one we've never replayed plus Soul Silver was the last one we replayed over winter break.
I didn't think it was all that hard, I didn't like that it was all new pokemon and you really didn't have access to older pokemon until after the main story. I guess I should clarify something on the starters too. I rarely use them through to completion. Like I said I usually use what ever pokemon I think look good. That means that I usually search for a Ninetails or Rapidash for my fire, find a better looking water than the starter, and in truth I rarely use grass types. I wonder why they haven't had a pokemon game that uses a different group of types as the starters. I think that would be a good idea.

My starter was my main pokemon, not long after the elite 4 I got Serperior to lv100.

I don't have the best work ethic in pokemon :P when I say complete or my friend and I replay that pretty much means that we restart and play through till we beat the elite four and then it just kinda stops. It sounds weird but sometimes we don't even play long enough to play the elite four or all the gyms. We have very different play styles. I tend to train my main team and play the super effective angle when going up against gym leaders. He tends to try and catch/train just about everything. So we tend to end up with me having beaten the gym leaders and still having to train my pokemon 30 or so levels to even compete with the elite four while he is still back at gym 4-6 somwhere with pokemon around the same level or higher than mine :P

On playstyles.. I think I'm a combination of you two.. I want to catch them all and train most of them to a decent level.. But I like to create specialist pokemon and battle teams.. yeah i loaded my sisters pokemon black to play a quick demo and it was different... like the character models and what not. it was crazy... i like it though, looks refreshing

lol, I need to reconnect my DS to wi-fi. My old DS with Wi-fi broke and I never did it with my HeartGold so it may be a few days. BTW I got a complete pokedex and plenty of pokemon to share.;)

lol:P, I remember how my friend always said he was going to destroy me right before a battle and it always turned out as the opposite of what he said.:lol:They were pretty good battles though, the best one was with my Kyogre lv100 vs his Mewtwo lv100.

In the original FFs. Thats what I like about XIII and XIII-2, its really easy to escape them. Especially in FFXIII-2.vegamineral
?i never escape battles .... lol I like them.. foced or random battles are fun... prepare yourself! pokemon battles with trainers can sometimes be avoided and if you dont like wild pokemon avoid tall grass!

Lol, yeah but you can run away from those. There was no getting around all those trainers who were just waiting for you lol. The last Pokemon game I played was Yellow, so maybe things have changed since then lol.
Thats good news. I've been so busy working that I haven't had time for much else. I want to get through the KH games since I have them all but have only beaten the first so I've been trying to play for about an hour a night. I'm a few hours into KH BBS :P
I've seen news about FFVII HD remaster. The characters' out-of-battle design has been updated to be proportionate to the regular body size... No longer chibi, cartoony.
I haven't really heard anything for either. The only thing I heard on VII is that they may consider it after current projects and their are graphical mods for the pc version of VII to upgrade it yourself. I haven't heard anything on X since its announcment really.
Well, the news is about FFVII's 15th anniversary, and FFX's 10th Anniversary.
There is no FFVII remake, but there is a patch released for the PC version that updates FFVII's graphics... Highter resolution and out-of-battle characters are no longer chibi style... They look like their in-battle design... I think they look even better.Â

Yeah same. Bought the HD Collection when it was released but didn't enjoy them. Basically played 1 and a 1/4 of the games (out of the 3). The new Tomb Raider looks like its taking the right path. No-one is invincible. This 1 Lara takes quite the punishment on her adventures. Adds a new perspective to the series.
