I'm pretty sure you get a paycheck or something. I've never played the game myself, but I think that's how it is.Yonathin3155
Basically. You'll just be walking around and BAM! you get money. How much depends on your SeeD rank.

Yeah, you can cheat and look up the SeeD test answers online and get to rank A to get a crap load of money, if you want that is. Or you could always just answer them yourself.
Another thing that seems strange: Leveling up is ridiculously easy and I don't know why. I've been training in the same area since the beginning of the game (the Balamb shore or whatever) and I'm already at level 32 with Squall. It seems like with each level-up the amount required for the next level-up doesn't change. 0.o
Edit: And now everyone's telling me that being at high levels will make the game hard for me. What? :/

Is that the only bad thing about leveling up?

That's the main aspect I hate about FFVIII.Â

Yeah, I'd call it another fail attempt at square trying to be original :P Also, some people are talking about stat bonuses that happen at low-levels, I don't get that. :|
I have begun playing FFVI, again, yesterday. On a whim, I decided to sample my SNES emulator. :D
Ah, nostalgia..
Lol.
I like the Crystal Chronicles series too, I find them overshadowed by the main series, but to be honest, you can't really blame the main series. :P
Anyway, right now I am playing The Sims 3 (alongside the World Adventures expansion pack)! :D
A Lilty fan? Cool! :)
I prefer to affliate myself with the Yuke Tribe, especially when playing Echoes of Time. :D
But, I'm also a fan of the Clavat Tribe. However, I still tend to prefer the Yuke Tribe.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. >.>
You know, though, deep down inside that the Yuke Tribe shall regin supreme one day! :P
I, eventually, decided to play Red Dead Redemption.
I attempted to resist temptation, but I gave in. :P
Finished FFIX a few hours ago. Sort of wondering where it goes on my list (I think I'll put it as number 3)
magitekk
Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I love FFIX.
In FFXIII, I'm was in the place where you will choose whih portal you're gonna enter. I decided to go back to Gran Pulse coz I haven't done any Hunts except for the first 2 and the teleporter one just before Taejin's Tower. :PFantasy_Gamer
Thats awesome Gamer! I'm in chapter 12 of FFXIII now and I'm trying to decide if I want to work on leveling or go further and finish the game since I'm almost through it. I completed about 40 of the missions so if you need any help let me know. I also have the guide book which I've honestly only used to find secret items and to help with missions so if ur on a mission I haven't done then atleast I could use that to help if need be. Do you guys think I should work on leveling or finish the game? (I currently have everyones three main classes maxed and the other 3 classes at stage 8 or better, just so you guys no where I stand on power now)
I just beat The Crystal Bearers again, this time without the final boss damaging me even once. And it didn't give me a medal for it.
Just began FF XIII FTW!Fenian_lostsoul
Let me know if you need any help or advice. I just beat it this week and almost finished all the missions in Chap. 11.
I'm actually playing several Final Fantasy games right now:
Final Fantasy II Anniversary Edition (PSP) - I'm still at the beginning of the game. Â Haven't even completed the first "mission." Â I'm in the midst of doing some power leveling. Â Once all my spells are at lvl 16, I'll move on.
Final Fantasy VIII (PSX) - This one I'm playing as part of a gauntlet challenge to defeat all the numbered Final Fantasy's in order. Â This is probably the 5th or 6th time I've played through VIII. Â I'm in Balamb Garden getting ready to go do the Dollet invasion test. Â However, before I go I'm picking up all the cards I can possibly get at this point.
Final Fantasy XIII (PS3) - Still playing through my first go-round. Â I took a break from it for awhile and picking it back up now. Â I'm just getting started with Chapter IX. Â Haven't really had any struggles with the game at all. Â I've died a few times here and there but that's been a very minor frustration.Â
I just bought like almost the whole series in the last month cause I only had X, X-2, XII, Dirge, and XIII. Now I have all the main games in some format besides V, VI, and XI. Today I'm getting a PSP with Dissidia and Crisis Core. Working on several games right now.
Final Fantasy XIII (PS3) - Just Beat. :D
Final Fantasy IX (PSX) - I'm following Princess Garnet after she knocked out my team in Lindblum. So still early on in the game.
Final Fantasy I (GBA) - Basically started and saved right away so I need to work on that.
Should I start Dissidia or Crisis Core once I get it today?

Well, Crisis Core is pretty lame, so go with Dissidia. And yes, I played Crisis Core. It was horrendous, so I sold it back.

I hated Dissidia and loved Crisis Core. However, neither's story should take more than 15 hours.
Well, I shouldn't say "hate". I was just really dissapointed. :/
