I must apologise for my recent almost constant absence. My GCSE exams are starting in to week and my revision time is becoming a social life destroying vacume being a law student you must know the feeling FG i hope you can sypathise

*SPOILERS!!!!!*

Okay, it's about a secret group who know what the Holy Grail is. They believe that Jesus had a wife Mary Magdaline, and that they had a daughter name Sarah or whatever her name is... But they are the only ones who know and think that. So someone kills the leader of the group and there are clues in all of Da Vinci's paintings that are leading a detective or someone like that to figure out the Holy Grail. If you watch this movie it's suppose to screw up your faith big time unless you don't believe it. This goes for Roman Catholics. There is also a prequel book called "Angels and Demons". But even though I'm Catholic I'm still going to go see it with my friends next week :P. I don't believe it but it looks really interesting.

We have different culture from the Western countries. We're more conservative on issues of Religion. The clergy has a big impact on public opinion and so that's why it became AO.

On the cureent events, many cities has even reached to the point of totally banning the showing of the movie.

i dont know why they made it rated AO our country is worried young people might get brainwash by watching the movie which is just a crazy reason.

Since this is an OT thread i thought i'd post a joke :D

Sunday School  
 
  Little Mary was not the best student in Sunday School. Usually she slept through the class. One day the teacher called on her while she was napping, ''Tell me, Mary, who created the universe?'' When Mary didn't stir, little Johnny, an altruistic boy seated in the chair behind her, took a pin and jabbed her in the rear. ''God Almighty !'' shouted Mary and the teacher said, ''Very good'' and Mary fell back to sleep.

A while later the teacher asked Mary, ''Who is our Lord and Savior?'' But Mary didn't even stir from her slumber. Once again, Johnny came to the rescue and stuck her again. ''Jesus Christ!'' shouted Mary and the teacher said, ''Very good,'' and Mary fell back to sleep. Then the teacher asked Mary a third question, ''What did Eve say to Adam after she had her twenty-third child?'' And again, Johnny jabbed her with the pin. This time Mary jumped up and shouted, ''If you stick that damn thing in me one more time, I'll break it in half!'' The Teacher fainted. 

I hope this isnt too offensive cuz i have posted it in other unions and there hasnt been any big issues about it
