many unions already use the idea of a co-leader, the only prob is the limitations of the permissions - so either they have no more powers than an officer or they switch leader positions now and then - which can get annoying due to the automated msgs everyone gets when leadership changes; part of unions V2 contains improvements to the permissions system that would allow you to have a proper co-leader, who would have all of the usual leader abilities. just a matter of waiting for GS to actually do something with all that stuff...extra threads with the same idea should help a bit in bringing that part forwards at least, or even improving on it as it was one of the smaller parts of the whole unions V2 thingrobbristow

Yeah. I remember correctly, Sentinelrv was pushing for a co-leader position. On my part, it's not really a formal co-leader position, but an expanded option in the permissions page where we can control which officer can edit posts, or even allow to modify the short description (the homepage design). Co-leader should have the power of a leader, except that he cannot demote the leader.

Yeah. That's the idea. A separate permissions page for each officer is also good coz we don't want new officers to be able to delete posts, etc. Well, I hope GS will do something about it. It is annoying to be receiving "XXX has just been demoted"... "YYY is the new leader". Then after a week or so you'll receive anothe rmessage.

If you don't believe me, which I highly expect, I'll take some pictures and make a video. I'm not going to lie about it. Yeah, I am known to be a "mod-wannabe." But when a user sees something that violates the rules and then passes it up, that is almost as bad as the violation itself. What is wrong with making the community a better place? I still hope to have you all as friends, but I kind of doubt that is possible now.
