Following confirmation in September 2005 that Final Fantasy IV would be released on GameBoy Advance during the course of 2006, Nintendo has today announced that the title will be launched in Europe on June 2nd.
Originally released fifteen years ago on the SNES/Super Famicom in the US and North America, Final Fantasy IV Advance on GBA has undergone a number of improvements including updates to the backgrounds, character portraits during conversations, and a new level 50 dungeon.
The fourth instalment of the Final Fantasy series last made an appearance back in 2001 as part of the Final Fantasy Chronicles pack, which was released on the original PlayStation, but the forthcoming launch gives another opportunity to play through an early story in the iconic RPG series.
