its actually one of the better side games in the series.
i have never won a game but i almost beat the luca goers once in the story(the one you have to do).
i never play the game but in the future i might try it.
That match with the Luca Goers is easy m8. The only team you have to lookout for is the Al Bhed Psychs (forgot the spelling)lol. They are really hard cause there keeper has 16-18 catch at level 1.

I played some 25 hours into the game, hoping FFX would finally start kicking it. Sadly, it kicked the bucket first, IMO.
Though I finished the game. The problem with you is that you want a game that you can get through easily without any complications. FFX is 1 of the best games out for te PS2 and always will be. You need to play the game again and take everything in.
"easily without any complications"? I'm in for difficulty challenges, and not challenges for patience. I didn't like the thunderbolt challenge at all, the rest were alright, and the chocobo challenge was both fun and irking at times.
I can't argue with your opinion on FFX. I haven't played FFX for a while, though I might pick it up and play it again.
Best graphics on the PS2? I've seen better, but admittedly, it has one of the best graphics out there, and possible the best graphics for it's time.
 In Blitzball, I've got this really good strategy, but you need the Jecht Shot. What you do is either place Tidus as Left or Right Fielder (preferably Left), and a Mid-fielder with a good Pass (PAS/PA). At the start, if you get the ball when it's Blitzoff, start moving towards the opponents goal. Looking at the map, stop moving when the opponents Mid-fielder stops and just starts moving towards you. Press Square and Pass the ball to Tidus. Go as close as you can to the goal without attracting to much opposing players, as to improve you chances of getting a goal. If you only have two, go for a Jecht Shot without a breakthrough, but if there are three, breakthrough the first player, then Shoot with a Jecht Shot. It's highly unlikely that it will work with four players.
wat i just dont like about it is that the game focuses alot on the main quest......i like final fantasy with lots of sidequest, ffx-2 had it but most were plain dumb......
