I loved XIII, I bought XIII-2 again today so now I have XIII and XIII-2 for both 360 and PS3 :P You can do it Raven. I would also heavily recomend that Sonic Collection. I have it on 360. Final Fantasy needs more estimated release dates. I had it how they have all these projects out in the open with no estimated release window, like X HD.
I get paid monday, so if I have the extra cash (after giving $100 for bills, $25 for gas to get back and forth to work, $50 for a phone card, and whatever else we need) I might pick up either Sonic collection, or Sims 3 pets. (Yes I love the Sims games. They are my guilty pleasure. :oops: )
If you have a bestbuy near you I'd try and get there today raven. They've been having a gaming blowout this past week and today is the last day for it. The Sims 3: Pets is being sold for 4.99 on either 360 or PS3. You should check it out ;)Â
I think XII did it the best. The Hunts started off early into the game and sometimes gave you great weapons. Searching for those Espers was fun too. With that said Screw Yiazmat and that Ultimate Weapon in the Crystal place.

You guys make me want to break out my XII. I wonder if I still have my end game save. My PS3 wasn't an original launch one (Metal Gear 4 bundled PS3 is what I have) but it still plays a bunch of PS2 games. If I can play the Xenosaga series on it then I should be able to play FFXII.
I don't know it came about. I know the original 60gb had BC built in. But the 80gb Metal Gear Solid one must of had an emulator built in. All my PS one games work fine and I've played what few PS2 games I have left (mostly GTA series + Xenosaga series) on it with no problems. I bumped out the 80gb for a 500gb. I've had it for over 5 years with no problems. I get the multi-card reader & 4 usb ports that the slim doesn't have. Wouldn't trade it in for nothing....well, not unless the PS4 is backwards compatible with everything.

I agree that XII did it the best. Gilgamesh:P How would I forget that was my favorite hunt. It was my favorite too;) I wish Gilgamesh was in more FFs. FFXII had so much stuff to do. I want to see a FFXII HD too.
If I have the money and its something I really want then I'll get it as soon as it comes out. For all the FFs except the XIIIs and other titles released around that time like Duodecim or Theatrhythm, I was behind on getting 1-12 and the tactics. Otherwise I buy somethings right away or things that I want that don't hold as much interest when they are cheaper or on sale at a good price ;)
I always keep my eye out for deals on games. I went a little crazy last week and bought 10 games but all in all I saved around 100 dollars.Lightning__Evil
I got FFXIII-2 and Resident Evil 5 on PS3 even though I already have them on 360 :P I got the Ico/Shadow of Colossus collection on PS3, the Devil May Cry HD Collection on 360, Gears of War 3 on 360, Metroid: Other M on Wii, and Kingdom Hearts 3D on 3DS. I saved 25 on FF since it was on sale for 15, I saved 15 on Gears since that was on sale for 15, I saved 10 on Devil May Cry Pack, I saved 10 on Ico/Shadow, and I supposedly saved 45 on Metroid since it was only 5 but regularly 50 :P So I saved 105 overall but I still spent 125 :P
Sounds like a good savings to me. I just finished KH 3D so now I have plenty of other games to play. I'm gonna start working on other KH and FF games. My next confirmed game to get is DOA 5 and I'm thinking about getting Jet Set Radio HD.
Ive still been playing FF on my ipod. Today I beat FFII and I beat "the final boss" on my 1st attempt. Very disapointing I hoped he'd be of some challenge. No matter Im playing FFII:SOR. Its an extra part of the game added on once you beat it but I think we should get back to FFX HD because we are very OT.
That's like our special skill getting OT :P Square's conference or whatever it is gonna be is in 2 weeks. That should be interesting and maybe we'll get more news on FFX HD. Maybe they'll announce that X-2 is gonna be included but I doubt that'll happen :P
Depending on the game I would consider getting an updated version and I have a couple. I also have several remakes where I never played the original so that is one thing they are good for. Also they want more money and they already have proof that whatever they are re-releasing sells.
They better make this remake in the same quality as how MGS2 and 3 were given HD makeover... Don't ever, ever try to do what Capcom did to RE4 and CVX!!!
Probably the ugliest HD makeover ever made. They just increased the resolution, but never really did something to the graphics that's why it looked so much dated. The cut-scenes in Separate Ways were even left in SDTV format.
Capcom has lost it's touch this gen far more than any other company I could think of. Mega Man is dead, Devil May Cry is getting an unnecessary reboot, Resident Evil isn't a survival horror and they've forgotten about several of there franchises like Breath of Fire.
I'm not sure where to stand in this debate. I'm not hardcore Capcom or anything but I do enjoy Resident Evil and DMC. I still enjoy the new REs but the old survival horror ones were better, I agree that their latests HD updates were poorly handled though I bought them anyway :P, and DMC doesn't need a reboot especially when they are basically outsourcing it to Ninja Theory.

Back to topic: Will you still get this game even if it is not the International Version?
Probably not, I have 2 copies of FFX in perfect condition so I think Im fine but SE like satisfying people they'll do whats best and remake the EU version.
Yup. Asian Versions (those games which are very much like the US version, but has support for Chinese language, and the mini-guides in the game package have Chinese text. Also, the back of the box has mostly Chinese text so we cannot read it.) are either Singapore or Hong Kong.
Well, in a sense, it's already worldwide... Retailers of countries where games are not officially released just imports it and sells it to us poor gamers at a much higher prize (if we want the US version).
