I've been playing a lot of D.C. Universe Online over the past month(casually, simply because it's possible to do so in this game). As you know the 14th installment of Final Fantasy was a disappointment. I was wondering if anyone actually picked it up? I was coasting in the store and was thinking about picking it up.

I like to watch these two British guys named Simon and Lewis from the Yogscast. They play a bunch of games with hilarious commentary. They had a huge first impression on FFXIV which is worth a look if you want to seriously laugh.

One of my friends in FFFU tried it out and he was completely lacrimating at how awful it was. He didn't know what to expect haha!

I am thinking of trying it once the PS3 version comes out. I hope the fees are cheaper to attract gamers to play it despite the initial bad reception.

Someone actually told me that the game got such bad reviews and so little continuous players that it is still actually free to play.  I would personally love to pick the game up even with all the bad reviews, because there are still a lot of people out there that say the game is worth it if you continue playing and don't just give up before level 10.  However, my computer unfortunately does not meet the requirements and I do not own a PS3.  However, I personally think if you have the money (like $50 just sitting on your dresser for two weeks) I would buy it seeing as apparently it cannot suck THAT badly if there are people still out there enjoying the game.  Sure, it is not Final Fantasy XI, but when you go into play it, don't try to compare it to anything.

Every human only has so much tolerance. You'll probably be wondering why the heck I am wasting such precious time on this heap of atrociousness deemed as "Final Fantasy".

I'm hoping they fix this game up. I was really looking forward to getting into another MMO since FFXI. How much was SE banking on this game to be a success. We might see a rash of re-re-releases and remakes soon to compensate for what SE lost with FFXIV. The fact that it's still free to play can't be helping either. Hopefully they'll get it together or I doubt it will ever be released on the PS3.

I hope so, too. Make it work like DC Universe Online.. Lesser fees = more players.
