Final Fantasy 9 was a very good final fantasy but how many people heve played the added option of multi player which can have up to 4 people playing at a time only during battle. Ive tried playing it with my brother and it worked out well as the battles were more easy strategically i was Zidane and Vivi my Bro was Steiner and Garnet aka Dagger. i was incharge of full blown assaults and my bro was incharge of support and miner attacks this strategy worked well against many bosses and Ozma. well has anyone else played final fantasy 9 using the multi tap or just 2 players ?

I've found that splitting responsibility up between two people allows you to focus on using the action that is appropriate. Sometimes, when one person controls all four, you end up just using one or two moves and not using optimal actions for that turn.

Multiplayer FF never worked for me. I remember trying to play FFIV on multiplayer and struggling. Then once I played it by myself I breezed through the game.
