I need someone who can head our news department... MOD OPENING

Not that I will stop making news, but I just realized that FFE cannot depend on me forever in updating our homepage for news and other latest FF info. You see, like now, I want to fix all our sections (like the images, downloads, guides, etc.), but due to the overwhelming amount of E3 news and updates, it consumes all my time which I should have devoted in buildin gour contents. Someone should do it so I can work on our contents.

So now, I am opening another Mod Position. No graphic designers now, but a good news writer. Here are the requirements:

Requirements:

1. Must be present and active at FFE almost everyday... ('coz we do updates on daily basis)
2. Nice, mature and loyal
3. Someone who is taking up Journalism or engaged in news/reporting activities/course. (like a news editor in a school paper) OR one who is really good with news.
4. Not a mod in any other unions. (This is necessary because being in-charge with the news department will take up a lot of time. You will not be able to afford to take another job in another union).
5. Use any FFE signature linked to our homepage.

This is a big responsibility and I hope anyone who can help FFE with this job will apply. If you know someone who can take that job, please inform them.

I hope you'll get your connection fixed soon... and I would really want to be "amazed" by your work as a mod. It's hard to do all things by myself.

From what u mentioned, these are my drawbacks. Im an officer in 6 unions. Im not very good at finding news.

But on the other hand. Im an article writer in a union already. So i can compile any news for u. Im present daily. U dont have to worry about that. I can come online for a few mins everyday even if my net connection is down. I can search for any particular thing that is mentioned. For Example ......... u ask me to find somethin then im sure i can get it for u.

I dont really need a mod position for this. I'll be haooy to help u with compiling and finding stuff as much as i can :D

i must suggest that you go to DRs union and take a look at their updates and see if DR or somebody (especially disgaeamad) would offer some pointers or would become an officer at our unionKnowledgeOrCred

Why dont u have a poll of some sort for officer nominations and then u can select who's worthy. just my opinion

^^this is not intended to start a war or anything but the words that Tom and I use the swear ones at least are allowed here on GS, unless the ToS has changed in the last few months the use of damn and ass (i think those are all I use) are allowed as long as you're not using them excessively or directing them in a hateful manner such as flaming people, like I said maybe its changed now but I figure if those words arent allowed in the context I use them in then they would be automatically censored which would force me to censor bypass them and of course be violating the ToS

anyway I'm not trying to argue or start any trouble I figured I'd just stick up for myself and make sure I have the right understanding

i'm kinda new with this whole union thing. oh..thanks to FG for inviting me by the way. just one question- are members from other unions allowed to browse through contents inside our union? also, are we allowed to join more than one union? there maybe some posts regarding my questions but then again there are like thousand posts in here and u cant possibly expect me to go through it one by one. I'm just wondering that because as of today, I'd received at least 5 invitations to join unions. It's weird because i was a member of GS since last year but nobody did bothered to message me not even once before this week. Lol!

yes people from other unions are allowed to view our pages and boards all they want, and yes members here are allowed to join any other unions they want, practically everyone here is a member of at least one other union most of us are members of quite a few

the reason you never got any invites until now is....i looked at your profile and noticed this is your only union, so this is how it happens, sometimes unions recruit members by looking at the member lists from other unions in their field, meaning say you started an FF union today and you needed to invite some people to join your union, you may figure on checking out other FF unions and seeing who's in them that way you know at least they are FF fans and may at least give your invite a chance, until you joined this union you were basically invisible to others when it came to inviting you to unions get used to it the invites will keep coming

hell try being an officer or a leader of a high ranked union and watch all of the crazy PMs you'll get, not to mention the tons of friend requests (i think its called tracking now), it used to drive me insane when I used to be the leader here
