Well in FFIX I changed Dagger to Garnet as it's her real name, other than that I keep the defaults. Kefkamania05

I don't really like Lightning.....it's too long. Unless they spell it differently and took away the "ning", something like "Lyte"or whatever......

i dnt think the name is really that bad...but it could be better...anyone heard anything else about this or is lightning still the only name that's appeared?

here's another point of view for you FG. since the game is still a work in progress

it's possiable that the crew working on the game figured hey we need to call her something

and let's face it I don't think there has ever been a charcter named lightning before so for

now let's have some fun and call her that. We can always change her name later.

I know it's kind of farfetched but hey we're speculating here. now this I don't know

so much about is it possiable that when the game is released in japan they use one set of names

then when they ship it out to the USA the people here that do the conversion switch the names
